Anne Hally B.S.Sc, B.Sc, MIFPA

After an initial career in personnel management Anne wanted a more ‘hands on’ approach to her work and so trained in massage and aromatherapy in 1999.  Once qualified she started work, at Mulberry House, a complementary health care clinic, where she still works today.

In 2000 Anne wanted to explore essential oils in more detail and so undertook a degree in aromatherapy at Napier University graduating in 2004 with distinction and as the University Medal Winner.

After graduating Anne also began work with the palliative care team at the Western General, Edinburgh and as a volunteer at the Marie Curie hospice.  This work meant more and more involvement with frail and vulnerable people and so she undertook several courses to assist her to include Massage Therapy for People living with Cancer and The Use of Essential Oils in a Cancer Care Environment.  She also trained in Indian Head Massage and completed the introductory year in shiatsu.

Anne read about the ‘m’ technique® as a student and trained with Dr Buckle, in Scotland.  Since training, Anne has used the ‘m’ technique® extensively, in hospital and hospices, but also with people who are feeling anxious and stressed and in need of a soothing, sensitive and mindful touch.

The ‘m’ technique is now one of the corner stones of Anne’s professional life and she has had many amazing results from this gentle therapy and as such, Anne is hoping to spread the word where ever possible.

Anne became an ‘m’ instructor in October 2007 and is willing to travel anywhere in both Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Anne is currently living in Edinburgh but has close links with Northern Ireland having been born and educated in Belfast.
