Corrine Anderson, RN
Corrine Anderson became an RN in 1961. Most recently, she was a hospice nurse for 15 years before she became a nurse practitioner in 1999, after getting her Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified as a Geriatric NP as well as an APRN in Palliative Care Management. She works at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth Texas as the Coordinator of the Pain & Palliative Care Consult Team, which was a new service at the hospital initiating in 2001. Her primary interest is promoting the use of a variety of holistic methods in treating pain and relieving distressing symptoms which accompany the events of an acute hospital stay or terminal disease. She became Certified in Clinical Aromatherapy (CCAP) in 2005, and as an instructor for the M-technique in January of 2005.
