Barbara
is a seasoned nurse with over 35 years of experience in various
fields of nursing including geriatrics, critical care, emergency
room, medical/surgical, and rehabilitation. She
graduated from El Paso community college earning an Associates
Degree, and later earned her Bachelor’s of Science in
Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. Barbara
is a certified instructor and practitioner in Clinical Aromatherapy
(CCAP).
Barbara joined the staff at Harris Methodist in Ft. Worth
in August of 2002. She credits her employment in the
Harris Methodist Rehabilitation Unit for sparking her interest
in alternative medicine including aromatherapy. She
enjoys being a Reiki practitioner, and constantly seeks out
alternative forms of comfort and healing for her patients. Barbara
is currently enrolled in the Brenda Davies International School
of Healing and Spiritual Development.
