Loretto Cattell, M.I.F.P.A. Practitioner UK Reiki Federation QuantumTouch Practitioner Following a long career in midwifery and nursing, Loretto trained as an Aromatherapist at the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy and qualified in 2000. For the last five years Loretto has specialised in the care of people affected by cancer, and practises at the Cancer Support Centre in Sutton Coldfield.  She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Complementary Therapies in Cancer Care, achieved with the help of funding from Macmillan Cancer Relief.  To enhance the care she provides Loretto has undertaken additional courses in Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage, Reiki, Quantum Touch, Indian Head Massage and Thermal Auricular Therapy. Learning the ‘m’ Technique has enabled Loretto to bring the benefits of touch to people too fragile to receive massage and to reinforce the positive effects of touch for us all.  During the past year she has introduced the ‘m’ Technique to children with special needs at the Wilson Stuart School in Erdington, Birmingham and has shown parents how to use aspects of the technique with their children. Loretto became an RJB Approved ‘m’ Technique Instructor in October 2007 and looks forward to bringing this calming, relaxing and easy-to-learn technique to a wider audience so that more people can enjoy the benefits of caring touch.  She is available to teach the ‘m’ Technique in the North Birmingham and South Staffordshire areas.  Regrettably, Loretto has no availability to take on any more private clients at the present time.
