Dr.
Barbara Cordell received her Bachelor of Science degree from
the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She
worked as an RN in cardiac care for many years and then earned
her Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from the University
of Texas System School of Nursing in Houston, Texas and her
doctorate from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Within the last decade, Dr. Cordell became a Board Certified
Advanced Holistic Nurse, a Registered Massage Therapist,
and a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner; she maintains
a private practice in holistic nursing in addition to her
administrative duties as Director of the ADN Program at Panola
College in Carthage, Texas. Barbara is married to Joe
Bartnik, a registered nurse in the cardiac cath lab. They
enjoy traveling and scuba diving together. Joe and
Barbara have a grown son, Brendan, two cats and a dog.
