 My Holistic Journey
Began in 2001with training and course work through Birch
Tree Center for Health Care Transformation: this Integrative
Healing Arts program was offered to an initial group of 20
Nurse at The Valley Hospital.
In March 2004 I successfully sat for my Holistic Certification
exam and have been actively involved in the establishment
of Valley Hospitals Holistic Practice Council.
Mission Statement
Be present to guide others to healing; understanding how
deeply we affect those touch not only with our hands but
our attitude, words and energy.
”M” Technique
Experience
On the Saturday that I attended my “M” Technique
Exam, I had to hospitalize my 9year old American Bulldog
Diesel. He was my buddy and Certified Therapy Dog. He
passed away in his home in my arms that next Wednesday Jan
12, 2005. His passing changed my heart forever and
with the loving guidance of Jane Buckle and class mates especially
a good friend Kathy Weith and Karen Maier whom I had the
pleasure of giving her first “M”ing I successfully
completed my exam. I was encouraged to use the “M” Technique
to guide and relax Diesel though his last days at home. Although
my heart is aching as I miss his physical presence, our last
days together were filled with quite moments and a deep connection.
What an immeasurable gift this was to both of us: the “M”ing
was our PEACE.
Personal
I have been married for 12 years to my husband Ken and have
been involved with raising, breeding, training, showing,
competing in agility and doing therapy work with my American
Bulldogs. My favorite color is Orange. I love
the winter months and skiing.
