Manager for WACKER a manufacturing company of light construction
equipment in Menomonee Falls, WI since 2004, chairing 12
person Wellness Team promoting and obtaining wellness in
the workplace. Member of the Med/Tele nursing resource
pool at St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon, WI. Public
Speaker on common and clinical Aromatherapy Practice. Past
instructor for aromatherapy classes for Aurora Health Care’s
Complimentary Medicine Program. Past recipient of the
Kate Ellen Polacheck Outstanding Nurse Researcher Award.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University
of Wisconsin, Oshkosh campus. Professional nursing career
initiated in 1986 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee, WI on the
Geriatric Institute/Neuro/Nephro floor. Floor merged in 1991
with the All Surgical floor. Areas of expertise expanded
to include the care of General, ENT, Urological, Orthopedic and
Plastic surgery patients. In 1996 began work as a Wound and
Ostomy Care Consultant and has continued in that scope of care,
both in- house and since 2001 at Christopher East Health and Rehab
Center. Began successful practice with essential oils and
wound care patients in 2001. First article published in Nursing
Matters July 2002 "Aromatherapy, Not Just for the Bath Tub". Recently
completed research study on wound care and aromatherapy intending
for publication soon. Aromatherapy remains a driving passion
for continuing to communicate the nearly miraculous recovery
from common and complex ailments.
