Clinical Coordinator, Integrative Medicine Program, Northern Westchester Hospital, Mt. Kisco, NY
Karen Maier has over 20 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, with Maternal Child Health and NICU her specialties. She is currently the Clinical Coordinator for the Integrative Medicine Program at Northern Westchester Hospital. This innovative program was created to bring holistic therapies to inpatients and staff, as well as to train and mentor direct care-givers in the implementation of these therapies. Her publications are designed to educate health care professionals and the general public in the many ways they can nurture and care for themselves and others using integrative therapies and self-help techniques.
