Maria C. Mazzer, R. N., H.N.-B.C. Mary
Mazzer is a Holistic Practitioner at The Valley Hospital in
Ridgewood, New Jersey. She is Certified in Holistic
Nursing, and is Certified as an ‘m’ Technique
Practitioner and Instructor. Her full-time position
at Valley incorporates the use of The ‘m’ Technique®,
aromatherapy, music, breath work, and guided imagery. She
assists patients and their family members with managing the
anxiety and stress of illness and hospitalization. She
also works closely with nursing staff on self-care and stress
management concerns. She is also a Reiki practitioner.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Montclair
State College and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in
Nursing from Bergen Community College.
Mary is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association
and the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists. She
is currently enrolled in R.J. Buckle Associates Clinical Aromatherapy
course, working toward certification as a clinical aromatherapist.
