Erin Munoz graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she started working at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital on the Hemodialysis/Renal unit and then spent a couple years working in PACU with post-op patients. Currently, she has spent the last 8 years as a staff nurse in the Med/Surg ICU, taking care of the critically ill.
She attended the North Texas School of Swedish Massage in Arlington, TX and became a licensed massage therapist in 2005. She is also a Sei-Chem Reiki Master/Teacher and has taken many classes in other energy modalities, such as Healing Touch and Quantum Touch. Erin completed the R.J. Buckle Clinical Aromatherapy Course at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital in 2007 and she attended the Instructor course with Dr Jane Buckle at Texas Harris Methodist Medical Center, Fort Worth TX in February 2009.
Erin’s Clinical Aromatherapy research project was published in Holistic Nursing Practice March 2008. The research studied the effect of Lavandula angustifolia and Salvia sclaria essential oils on the work-related stress of nurses in an intensive care unit.
